I am a Portland, Oregon based photographer specializing in Glamour, Boudoir, Pregnancy and Artistic Nude photography.
If you're new to my site here's a brief introduction:
My style tends to be heavy on shadows and contrast. This isn't expressed in every image obviously but I definitely have a preference for selective lighting. Take a look at my gallery for samples of my work to see for yourself.
I update my gallery pages occasionally, for one reason or another, so be sure to check back at least every once in awhile.
NOTE: All images in my gallery and in my printed portfolio are of individuals who have granted me permission to use them publicly. Due to the sensitive subject, images of clients without permission are never shared with outside parties.
I'm located in Portland, Oregon. My studio is located inside the "Broadway Studios", conveniently located near the Rosegarden Arena and Lloyd Center Mall in NE Portland.
Formally known as smashbox photography, I have changed my studio name to Umbra Photography. Over the next two months I will be phasing out all logos and references to the old studio name. I apologize for any confusion this may cause any of you.

Because of your support and business I am happy to announce that I am moving into a new, larger studio.

The artists of Boxlift Building Lofts (including myself of course!) are having an Open Studio November 10-11th, 2007. Mark Wooley is curating the art for the show. Here is the schedule of events:
